Eva Marsden Centre

EMC is dedicated to restoring humanity and dignity to the experience of growing older in our society. Caregivers are provided with psychosocial support as well as opportunities to connect with others in both small group sessions and larger events.

Indigenous Health Centre of Tiohtià:ke

Centre Tiohtià:ke offers programs aimed to help navigating health services, such as translation, accompaniment and assistance with forms and setting appointments, as well as an urgent care clinic, optometry, addiction services, counselling and spiritual healing.

JEVI is a community organization with a mission to promote well-being and prevent suicide among the population of the seven territories in the Estrie region that it serves.

MONTREAL SEXUAL ASSAULT CENTRE

The MSAC offers a range of bilingual services free of charge to anyone who has been a victim of sexual violence. Services are also offered to the victim’s family and close friends.

INTERLIGNE

Interligne is a front-line organization that, through its listening, intervention and awareness services, contributes to the wellbeing of people concerned with sexual diversity and gender plurality.

WEST ISLAND CRISIS CENTRE

The centre responds to the needs of adults in a state of situational crisis, emotional distress or adjustment crisis, whether suicidal or not, as well as their loved ones.

ASSOCIATION IRIS

The Iris Association’s mandate is to operate in the territories of Montreal served by the CIUSSS du Nord-de-l’Île-de-Montréal and to provide an alternative to hospitalization.

LE TRANSIT

Le Transit is a community mental health organization with over 25 years’ experience providing specialized, short-term, free and confidential crisis services to those in need.

TRACOM

Tracom is a non-profit organization. Qualified crisis intervention workers are available 24/7 to take your call. We offer professional services that are free, confidential, and bilingual.

Estrie dependency rehabilitation center

Public Resource for alcoholism and drug, addiction, pathological gambling problems, as well as problematic use of the Internet and screens.

CENTRE DE FEMMES ENTR’ELLES

The Entr’elles women’s center is open to all women, regardless of their social condition, age, ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation, etc. The center offers individual and group support services.

KIDS HELP PHONE

Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, confidential support to young people in English and French.

SOS CONJUGAL VIOLENCE

A non-profit organization whose mission is to help ensure the safety of victims of intimate partner violence (IPV) and that of their children throughout Quebec, by offering free, bilingual, anonymous and confidential referral services. Available 24/7.

AIDE JURIDIQUE MONTREAL/LAVAL

CCJM provides legal aid to the residents of the territories of Montreal and Laval pursuant to the Act respecting legal aid and the provision of certain other legal services.

ESTRIE AIDE

Offers a wide range of everyday objects (furniture, clothing, electronics, etc.) that have been revalued and thus given a second life.

YES MONTRÉAL

Helps English-speaking Quebecers reach their potential. Teaching skills and confidence to develop a personal career or business strategy through workshops, personalized coaching, and so much more.

YOUTH 4 YOUTH QUEBEC

Y4Y Québec is a non-profit organisation committed to addressing the issues facing English-speaking youth (ages 16-30) across Québec.

BLACK HEALING FUND

Growing, volunteer-run initiative that exists to provide low-income Black folks in the Tio'tia:ke / Montreal area with discretionary funding and resources that contribute to mental health and wellness.

HEALING IN COLOUR

Healing in Colour offers a directory of BIPOC therapists who are committed to supporting BIPOC.

A community organization providing support to trans women and transfeminine people.

Ask Your Question! is 100% anonymous and confidential support on all topics related to sexual diversity, gender plurality, sexual health and intimate relationships.

CENTRE FOR GENDER ADVOCACY

Independent, student-funded, Concordia University organization mandated to promote gender equality and empowerment, particularly as it relates to marginalized communities.

COMPENSATION FOR CRIME VICTIMS (IVAC)

IVAC is concerned first and foremost with crime victims, and its mission is to support them and help them access the financial assistance they need for their rehabilitation and return to daily life.

CHSSN

Information about community organizations, funded by CHSSN and Health Canada, who aim to enhance the vitality of English-speaking minority communities in Quebec.

West Island Therapy And Wellness Centre

Comprehensive and compassionate approach online and in-person. This includes Individual, couple, family therapies, workshops and corporate wellness training, and academic assessments, speech and occupational therapy.

CONNECTE PSYCHOLOGY

Connecte Psychology offers a variety of services, including individual and couples’ sessions, workshops, as well as virtual therapy to best help meet needs.

MONTREAL THERAPY CENTER

Professional counselling and psychotherapy services in Montreal at a sliding scale rate. Services include individual, family, couples and group therapies.

NUMINUS CLINIC

Numinus recently joined Stella Mental Health to continue offering groundbreaking mental health services for anxiety, depression, PTSD and more. Together, we’re providing best-in-class treatments from trusted providers, all under one roof.

CBT CLINIC

Dynamic group of therapists with expertise in CBT, a results-oriented short term therapy. Affiliated with McGill University, the CBT Clinic offers sliding scale CBT therapy.

OPEN PATH COLLECTIVE

Open Path Psychotherapy Collective is a nonprofit nationwide network of mental health professionals dedicated to providing in-office and online mental health care—at a steeply reduced rate—to clients in need.

MOISSON ESTRIE

Moisson Estrie is a socio-economic organization dedicated to reducing food waste and redistributing foodstuffs, directly or through partner organizations, to persons who are experiencing financial vulnerability.

MAISON BENOÎT LABRE

An inclusive place providing the necessary support, services and resources to the most vulnerable population in order to improve the living conditions of everyone.

AUBERGE MADELEINE

The Auberge Madeleine's mission is to welcome, house, and support single women experiencing homelessness aged 18 and over. Their shelter is free, ranging from a few weeks to a few months in response to immediate needs.

AUBERGE SHALOM

Based in Montreal, Auberge Shalom offers diverse and comprehensive services for women and children who have been affected by intimate partner abuse.

AUBERGE TRANSITION

Feminist organization whose primary mandate is to offer shelter, information, counselling and follow-up services to women who are currently experiencing or have experienced any form of spousal abuse.

LA MAISON ST. JACQUES

The role of psychotherapists is to facilitate the emergence and development of group life, work on the bonds that unite participants and self-understanding.

MISSION OLD BREWERY

Open 24/7, the Mission’s emergency services are a gateway to transition programs and resources driven by a network of professionals and partners whose collective goal is to end chronic homelessness.

REFUGE DES JEUNES

A day, evening and night shelter located at 1836 Sainte-Catherine Street East in Montréal. All services provided by the Refuge des Jeunes are free of charge.

O3 ON OUR OWN

On Our Own (O3) is a Montreal-based non-profit that offers support services and transitional housing to young, vulnerable parents and their children. We believe that strong family systems are key to reaching success.

OUR HARBOUR

Our Harbour provides a caring, cost-effective long-term housing program on Montreal’s South Shore for people of diverse backgrounds living with mental illness. We offer life-management support, links with resources in the surrounding community, and individual assistance in integrating with society.

BGC DAWSON

BGC Dawson is a safe and supportive community centre that offers a wide range of educational, recreational, and social programs.

BLACK MENTAL HEALTH CONNECTIONS MTL

Our mission is to use our collective experiences to empower members of Black communities by breaking mental health barriers and promoting healing through culturally competent education and innovative community care.

HEAD & HANDS

Head & Hands has provided medical, legal and social services to Montreal youth. Their services include free weekly drop-in clinics, counselling, youth parents' program, youth drop-in, and more.

WOMEN’S CENTRE OF MONTRÉAL

Our mission is to provide educational and vocational training, as well as information, counselling and referral services to help women help themselves.

WEST ISLAND WOMEN’S CENTRE

The WIWC is a dynamic and widely-used nonprofit community organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of women.

PROJECT 10

All services at Project 10 are free, confidential and anonymous, including their support services. They are open to 2LGBTQ+ youth between 14-25.

WEST ISLAND LGBTQ2+ CENTER

The West Island LGBTQ2+ Centre is the only LGBTQ2+ resource in the West Island. The Centre has a series of programs that cater to different demographics within the community.

TRANS ESTRIE

TransEstrie is a community organization that aims to support, accompany and represent trans and non-binary people in the Estrie region.

ASSISTANCE AND REFERRAL CENTRE

Dedicated to assisting and empowering people of all ages to access health and social services, information, resources, programs, and activities in English on the South Shore.

AMI-QUEBEC

AMI-Quebec is a non-profit organization that helps families manage the effects of mental illness through support, education, guidance, and advocacy. Their programs are free!

FACE À FACE

The Face à Face Listening and Intervention Centre is a non-profit community organization dedicated to addressing the concerns of individuals in need.

COMMUNITY PERSPECTIVE IN MENTAL HEALTH

Community organization dedicated to helping people with mental health problems achieve their fullest potential while meeting the challenges of everyday living within their community.

FRIENDS FOR MENTAL HEALTH

Friends for Mental Health is a non-profit organization that offers support and other resources to those close to a person with a mental health issue.

RELIEF

Offers several services to help you and loved ones live with anxiety, depression or bipolarity. Includes support groups and self-management support.

VENT OVER TEA

Free and confidential active listening service to all members of the local community to promote mental wellness and connection.

TEL-AIDE MONTREAL

Free listening line available in both English and French 7 days a week from 7am to 11pm. Closed during the night. Open to the general public.

MCGILL STUDENTS’ NIGHTLINE

McGill Students’ Nightline is a confidential, anonymous, and non-judgmental listening service run by McGill students.

CONCORDIA STUDENTS’ NIGHTLINE

A confidential, anonymous, non-judgemental listening service run by Concordia students, open to all.

211 QUEBEC

Information and referral service that refers citizens towards community organizations, public and para-public services and programs near them. This includes a 24/7 hotline, online directory and statistical reports.

MENTAL HEALTH CANADA

Resource list for Mental health & illness, suicide prevention, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), cannabis and mental health and more.

DRUGS: HELP AND REFERRAL

Drugs: Help and Referral (DHR) provides support, information and referrals to anyone worried about their use of drugs, alcohol and/or medication, as well as, to their loved ones.

TEL-JEUNES

Tel-jeunes has made it its mission to guide Quebec’s youth through their everyday discoveries, first experiences, questions, and difficulties. From little questions to what feel like insurmountable problems, Tel-jeunes is there.

WELCOME COLLECTIVE

Welcome Collective is an organization whose core mission is to mobilize Montreal’s local community to provide immediate help to the city’s most precarious refugee claimants.

RRASMQ

RRASMQ is a non-profit coalition with over a hundred community-based organizations in Quebec which includes peer support groups, crisis centers, transition houses, treatment centers, hot lines, etc.

The Refugee Centre

Non-profit based in Montreal that provides a sustainable structure of integration for refugees and immigrants in Canada. Services include orientation, academic aid, health and social support, and more

Centre Greene is an inclusive independent, not for profit, community organization working to build a strong and vibrant community by providing recreational, social and cultural services to all.

ELAN is a network that connects, advocates for, and creates opportunities for English-speaking artists and cultural workers of all disciplines from every region of Quebec. They can connect you with creative activities, and support your pursuit of art.

YWCA

The YWCA Montreal, supported by its Foundation, provides services to women, girls and their families so they can participate in and contribute to society to the best of their abilities.

Tyndale St. George

Offers empowering, supportive programs and services to the English-Speaking community of Little Burgundy in South-West Montreal.

Appui

l’Appui works to preserve the health, well-being and quality of life of caregivers helping you navigate resources available across Quebec. Their Caregiver Support Helpline is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Chabad Lifeline

If your partner or an adult member of your family is dealing with addiction, they urge you to reach out and get the support you need to best navigate the situation.
