In the spirit of Mental Health Week’s “Come Together” theme, Vent Over Tea is hosting three gatherings, a morning café centering those doing care-centered and community-rooted work, a meditative journaling workshop, and a spring photo walk, each nurturing connection, reflection, and shared care. Through these offerings, we’re creating space to slow down, be in community, and strengthen the relationships that support our mental wellbeing. We’d love to see you throughout the week:
✩ Tuesday, May 5 (10am-12pm): Community Care Café
✩ Wednesday, May 6 (6-8pm): Connections Through Writing: A Meditative Journalling Workshop
✩ Saturday, May 10 (11am-1pm): In Bloom: A Spring Photo Walk

Vent Over Tea is excited to be collaborating with photographer and community organizer, Saria and photographer and visual storyteller Zak, to bring you along on our bi-annual photo walk taking place in the Verdun neighborhood. 🌷
🚶Walks are a great way to get in touch with your surroundings and move with intention. They can also be used every day to maintain mental wellness. Walks promote the release of endorphins, which overall improve your mood and reduce stress levels.
This photo walk invites you to take in the beginnings of spring as you meet new people and get creative together!
We’re looking forward to walking through the Verdun neighborhood with you and ending our walk at a cafe where we can all continue to connect.
This event is open to ALL, you do not need to be a photographer to attend 🙂
