Montreal, March 7, 2023 – Self Care in Action, a thought-provoking and inclusive event that provides practical self-care tools by a panel of experts and resources, is set to take place on March 18, 2023, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Cafe Leo, located at 1215 Rue Berri, Montréal, QC H2L 0H6.
The event will offer attendees an opportunity to engage in a social hour with experts and partnered organizations, attend an expert panel discussion featuring five specialists, and enjoy mingling and music.
The panel of experts includes Danielle Levy, a Registered Holistic Nutrition Practitioner, and Certified Nutrition Consultant based in Montreal, Ventsislav Tomov, a licensed psychotherapist with graduate training in psychology and psychotherapy, Josee Luz, a personal trainer who has been in the fitness world for over 25 years, Louise Campbell, a composer-performer, teaching artist, artist coach, and cultural worker, and Robert McFadden, a mindfulness coach with 20 years of experience.
Self Care in Action has partnered with several organizations such as Project 10, BMHC (Black Mental Health Connections), ELAN (English Language Arts Network), and David’s Tea, which will provide information on their resources, programs, and free products.
The event is free, and attendees can reserve a spot on the Eventbrite page, where they can also make a donation.
Self Care in Action is organized by Vent Over Tea, a free active listening service non-profit based in Montréal that connects those who need to vent with an empathetic listener in a local café or virtually.
