This virtual workshop introduces active listening skills designed specifically for the workplace, helping participants communicate more effectively, navigate difficult conversations, and build stronger professional relationships.
Drawing from the same training Vent Over Tea provides to its active listeners, this workshop explores how intentional listening can foster empathy, reduce misunderstandings, and support healthier workplace dynamics.
Participants will gain practical tools they can apply in everyday conversations in the workplace whether you’re a colleague, a a manager, or a business owner.

About your facilitator 👋:
Marissa Norton is the Executive Director at Vent Over Tea. Although her background is in communications, she is a trained active listener, completed CBT training for personal development, and is an advocate for mental health awareness and emotional literacy. Marissa has facilitated multiple active listening workshops with businesses, schools, and other community organizations
