Join Black Mental Health Connections Montreal and Vent Over Tea for the last event of our three-part event series, ‘Building Community: From Care to Action.’ Together we invite you to explore the essence of community care, the significance of genuine connections with ourselves and others, and how these relationships can drive meaningful change.

Community Care as Power is an interactive panel and discussion, exploring mutual aid as a form of community care through the lens of innovative local community organizations. Attendees will be invited to break into groups to reflect, connect, and engage in meaningful discussions.

Mutual aid arises from navigating systemic barriers and recognizing community needs. This event aims to acknowledge and celebrate organizations that use mutual aid to forge innovative pathways to address challenges, overcome obstacles, and mobilize their community towards a place of strength, power, and transformative change.
